When five young students from Al-Maarif Islamic Secondary School in Pahang — better known as Team Malaysia — were selected to represent the country at the FIRST Global Challenge 2025, we knew their story deserved to be shared widely. Together with Lam Research and Roboticist Malaysia, Emerald Communications had the privilege of helping these bright young minds take their first step into national media.
Over the course of one week, Team Malaysia, Lam Research, and Roboticist Malaysia joined interviews with BFM, New Straits Times (NST), Amanz, and TraxxFM - each bringing their own angle to the story.
For the students, it was a new kind of experience - one that brought them face-to-face with cameras, microphones, and questions about their aspirations. With guidance from their mentors and support from Lam Research and Roboticist Malaysia, they handled it all with composure and enthusiasm.
For us at Emerald, it was a reminder of why stories like this matter: connecting people, purpose, and progress through communication. We’re proud to have been part of helping these young innovators find their voice and to see them inspire others along the way.
